If this post can be read as an ode to Darren Criss’ “incrediblism” it’s because it is. But it doesn’t come out of nowhere. It’s not even that I need an excuse to list the five reasons that make Darren Criss one of the greatest characters of current pop culture, but oddly enough today I do have one.

Hey Team Darren,
We just wanted to give you a little update on some exciting things we have coming up here at the DCST. It was great having so many people in NYC to see Darren, we spent time with a lot of members of the DCST and had several conversations about what we do, our goals, and the future of the team.
In the last few weeks, the admins (and officers) have been very busy brainstorming and divising plans to make the DCST more efficient, more active and better than ever.
We have a lot of new ideas and plans that will be implemented over the next few weeks, including weekly online promotions (check out the FB project on the DCST wall!), regional promotion contests, new moderators, and a new improved message board. There are other things in the works as well, like new graphics, t-shirts, prize packages and a few other things (can’t spoil all the surprises!).
Look for all of this very soon. We made a new admin profile on facebook, which is where all official announcements on the facebook page will come from: Darren Criss ST. Go ahead and send a friend request if you want to keep up with us there as well. :)
In the meantime, continue to spread Darren’s music with your friends/family/schoolmates/strangers/etc.

1. I’ve been told someone had this idea last fall. Hey, great minds think alike. Definitely not trying to take credit for a plan that someone else also may have come up with. When we were discussing flyer distribution on the DCST fan forum, a few of us started discussing this. Nicole Wiseman said something about getting a song to chart. I suggested Human, a few people agreed, and that’s where we came up with it. However, it’s awesome to see that Darren fans are on the same train of thought.
It doesn’t matter where the idea came from, it matters that we GET IT DONE! :) Kudos to whoever had this plan last fall.
2. International fans are having problems because you can’t purchase Human in other countries. I have a few solutions for you. You can still promote this project by getting the word out, if you want to participate, you can have your friends in America purchase for you… if you don’t have a friend to send $ to, you can PayPal your money to the DCST. darrencrissstreetteam@gmail.com is our email. Just send a note along with the funds saying how many copies you wish to be purchased and where to gift them to, we’ll take care of it.
